This is going to be a battle (not being sarcastic).
Two desperate teams smelling a winnable game on a Saturday night in Carbondale. We’ll see if the Salukis’ improved play, at least offensively, shown in Nashville carries over.
Missouri State will win a handful of Valley games this year as they have the athletes and feistiness to compete when they shoot decently, which can be an issue for them. Hopefully Southern’s much-abused D doesn’t fix what ails them.
BTW on the preview podcast Luke Martin mentioned the possibility of Dibba applying for another year of eligibility. Not sure how realistic that is or if he would return for another year at Southern, but something to monitor.
Also, he mentioned former Bear Tyler Bey as redshirting and didn’t say anything about his extended absence.
Massey has us by 2 - should be a good one.

any time you can put a couple of winless teams on the floor, it is always a good one.
GO DAWGS!
Ready for some good to happen in 2025. A win would be nice, especially since we play them again in four days and a 2 game win-streak would be just what the doctor ordered.
To compare teams based on 1 game. SMS beat High Point by 10 on a neutral court. We lost to High Point by 5 at home. Should be a heck of a game!

SMS did not play High Point. MSU did though. 😉
