They probably should be leaving about now.
March on triumphantly!
Quality wins have been in short supply. Not to be overly dramatic, but, IMO, this is virtually a must-win to salvage anything redeeming from this conference season. Sure, they could lose and maybe still edge out Illinois State for the 6 seed if the head-to-heads go well, but how would Saluki fans feel about going 0-4 in HOME games against the league's top four teams?
I know how I'd feel ... not good.
So yeah, find a way to pull this one out. Missouri State can be a handful when they're on, but at some point you've got to beat a good team if you want to be taken seriously.

Yeah, the so-called winter storm will already have started by tomorrow night, and with a late start, crowd probably won’t be much.
But it’s on TV, so it’s not like the old days where we could hardly ever see the team on the road or when circumstances like this arise.

Damn, Woogers. Scaring the hell out of people. 😆
I am guessing Missouri State is already in town to get ahead of the weather. Otherwise, I would think the mvc would seriously consider postponing the game. I am a season ticket holder but live over 2 hours north of Carbondale where we will be getting up to a foot of snow. Needless to say, I won't be able to make the game. I wish they were postponing the game to allow for a much bigger crowd later in the month. Unfortunately, the arena will probably be virtually empty, negating much of the home court advantage.
Up to date local weather says the immediate area will see the biggest impact after midnight(second wave). Substantial ice keeps moving to the south. I will likely be there. 🏀

Good, I hope the students and dawg pound show up too. Most will walk to the game, so I am hopeful!
Bryan Mullins with Andy Katz:
I'll be there rain, snow, ice, sleet, locusts, whatever.

They're already in town. I saw them practicing at Banterra around 3:30pm
