Defense is pitiful. Missouri State 7-7 from the field.
@dunkledog it’s not complaining. This is a problem. This team and almost every player on it cannot play at this level. We are outmatched all over the court.
This could be a nice opportunity for our guys to learn to face and overcome adversity. This is dangerously close to being a 20+pt loss, but IF they can come back, I think it would help them down the road.

Why are we going to defend this embarrassment? If this was a Hinson team we would be losing our minds about how non competitive they are. This is a bad team and if we are going to be good these aren’t going to be the players who accomplish it.
Losing Domask sucks but Domask isn't an amazing defender that this team is missing. Team looks lazy right now. Same as Saturday.

Shooting 3's is probably the only shot they have at getting back in this one really. Like the response by SIU but defense is still miserable.

Shooting wide open 3's.. YES !!! Shooting NBA 3's (contested or not) is a very low % shot.
Not happy to know that Prim is coming back next year !!!!! When properly motivated, he is an absolute beast. Just beat a double team and then triple team there.
The Salukis have to start going after offensive rebounds. Filewich was at the hoop and turned around as the shot was released by another Saluki. Easy defensive rebound for Mo. State.

I'm watching a Valpo team that doesn't have much more talent than SIU even without Domask bring Loyola down to the wire in Chicago a week after beating Drake. SIU is non-competitive in all these games.
