we should consider some zone. Can’t stay in front of anyone defensively.

I hope this isn't a nagging injury.  I feel like this is the 2nd or 3rd time he's left a game this year holding his hand/wrist.

Jones with trainers since timeout. He was dropping his head. Doesn't look good.

I'm watching a Valpo team that doesn't have much more talent than SIU even without Domask bring Loyola down to the wire in Chicago a week after beating Drake.  SIU is non-competitive in all these games.

I’ve said it 1000 times. We are outclassed athletically. We cannot compete with these players. It’s low major athletes vs highish major. Look at brown, Harvey, D’Avanzo, Banks, Filewich. No length, no quickness, no speed, no explosiveness. Valpo has to athletes to compete any night, we don’t. Throw in the fact our “shooters” that can’t compete athletically like Brown, Harvey and D’Avanzo can’t actually shoot and you’re going to be really really bad.

Jones came back out to the bench just before the half. We'll see if he comes back.

Down 14 at the break. 36-22

Salukis *might* have 1 more win rest of season with a split against Valpo (although the Valpo team I saw today is sweeping both games in Carbondale), maybe 2 if the Bradley four sit in St. Louis and they finish 7th.

I keep coming back to SIU looking like it didn’t belong on the court against Drake with Domask. The gap between the top of the conference and where we’re at is wide.

It’s not changing next year with a bunch of freshman in a conference filled with returnees. I hope there’s some magic in a bag somewhere. Hopefully nobody transfers either.

This... everyone wants to act like it’s all gonna be good... no, it isn’t. Not anytime soon. This is a 10th place team this year, next and potentially the year after.

Not sure about that assuming Domask and Muila are healthy.  But it's a bottom half of the Valley team for sure.
