Hey goroshnik, can you tell us what percentage of 3 pointers were made in our top ten?Your final SIU shot totals... 17-25 from inside the arc, and 9-32 from deep.
Those 32 3-ball attempts are one short of cracking SIU's all-time top ten in team history.
KenPom has Three Point rate since 2002 and 3 of the top 4 are from this season (not including this one yet)
When you're not even put in the game for garbage time, Cade should have taken the redshirt.
Completely agree and don't get it. Maybe he just didn't want the redshirt. Some guys, unlike me LOL, don't want to spend excess years in college.
With 6 1/2 to go, we were up by 19. Seems like some of these guys that don't get playing time could have gotten more than 1:30.
Anyway, good blowout against a team short on manpower.
One of the reasons I love Cade is just that....he didn't play, nor has he been playing, but if you watch him on the bench or during timeouts, he's still so engaged and supportive of his teammates. Despite his lack of PT, I am guessing he will be back and his best if still ahead of him. I really like what we have with Cade, Ebube and Rupert going forward.
28% from three and 56% of our shots
Jones and Domask with 4 steals each
DAmico Player of the Game - 15 pts in 20 minutes
Jones leading scorer with 18

agree - Cade seems like a great teammate - still think he's shown enough he should be getting some game experience
Lemme see which games pop up in both 3s made and 3s attempted:Hey goroshnik, can you tell us what percentage of 3 pointers were made in our top ten?Your final SIU shot totals... 17-25 from inside the arc, and 9-32 from deep.

18-40 (at Hawaii Hilo, Dec. 29, 1995)
15-35 (Saint Louis, Dec. 1, 1990)
15-34 (at Tulsa, Dec. 11, 2021)
16-33 (Tulsa, Feb. 14, 1996)
It looks like in all the other games where the Salukis took 33 or more attempts, they made 13 or fewer of them, so I can't tell right off the bat what those results were.

So, what would the tiebreaker scenarios be when four teams are involved? What a logjam this could end up being.Updated MVC standings:

Think they recently posted them:
It's way over my head to actually break this down but I think ESPN's current order of standings is actually correct and SIU is in 1st place right now.

Great sim. Got to get the UIC game, though. Remember the ISU debacle. Make the game against Drake matter even more. You can only do that by stepping on teams below you.
Bow Em
There's that mid-range game for Newton - need MORE of that
My goodness I know with analytics and all the mid-range game is fading, but very refreshing to see a mid-range J knocked down. I wish Jones would do that more often too. Especially against teams like Bradley that are so big inside.
He was so good mid-range while he was at Evansville too
I think it's head-to-head then NET rankings.
or a Missouri State. With how shorthanded Misery State is, I have to think it's more likely than not we pull away somewhat at the end because of fatigue
This team just doesn't have the ability to pull away unless they're playing an Evansville or Little Rock
