Houston, we have a problem.
Sucks no Smithpeters.
Houston, we have a problem.
Why, it looks pretty good
Handsome lot. Let's hope they can coach.
I'm not sayin' -- I'm just sayin'!
Houston, we have a problem.
Because you don’t know the names? I don’t really have an opinion on if the staff can coach or recruit but there’s a lot of Chicago ties and I trust Mullins is hiring the best staff possible.
Smithpeters not being on this staff is fine with me. Contrary to what many on here kept saying it was unlikely that Kyle or Clancy were ever going to be on this staff. Glad Bryan picked who he felt would work hard and be loyal to him and the program. Every coach should be able choose who they want to go to war with, as its their a$$ on the line in the end.
I guess what bothers me is the young ness and lack of d1 experience
Agree they are very young.
Agree that Bryan should pick the guys he's excited about and get after it. Good luck to the staff ... lots of work to be done!
Ideally, it might have been nice to have someone with St. Louis/metro east ties, but the staff is certainly a Chicago-savvy bunch. Tons of players in Chicagoland, but tons of competition, too.
Well all but one are from d1
Well all but one are from d1
I wish one or more were from the power conferences
I guess what bothers me is the young ness and lack of d1 experience
We had close to 100 years of experience last year.
Mullins says Monaghan has extensive recruiting ties to JC's all over the country and HS in the Midwest.
There was very little chance Bryan could get an asst from a power 5 if for no other reason than dollars, let alone prestige and other factors.
