Mayo brought intensity, stopped a dunk, had a beautiful block in the 1st half. Doesn’t score much. I like his energy. That flagrant … I thought that was a good foul.

The turnover that led to the flagrant was brutal and quite costly.
Definitely - he Tony Young’d the dunk, which was a certainty. I think it was KD who telegraphed the pass that Ellington stole. Guy that sits next to me pointed out that no one else ran the court but Mayo after that steal-they stood and watched.
Coach Nagy - they were just more physical ... we let them push us under the basket - also didn't have the same energy we've had lately. Our terrible shooting of the long losing streak reappeared. As Nagy said, hard to win when you shoot 3 - 20 from three. Took a few ill-advised threes for sure, and they weren't falling.
Hensley was also just outsized it appeared. According to their website, Ellington is only 6' 7". Looked 6'9" or 10" to me. Didn't score in the 2nd half.
Agree about Steffe. He's a good sized guard and plays hard. If he ever becomes a good shooter, he'll be a big help to this team.
Drew Steffe or Trent Brown
Drew Steffe or Trent Brown
At this particular time, I don't believe you can accurately choose one or the other. Mr. Brown had five years of college basketball experience, while Mr. Steffe is in his true first year. I would certainly think for this to be a fair question in 3 years or so. He has the potential, but is still young.
GO DAWGS!!!
