SIU welcomes Murray State to the Banterra Center for the first time as an MVC member and look to move to 9-2 in the Missouri Valley.
The Racers have had a very up and down year including a win against #49 Texas A&M in their MTE. They only have 2 true road wins this year against #274 Valparaiso in OT and #349 Evansville.
Murray State has been playing a 7 man rotation their last few games with Kenny White out because of his arrest. The Racers are 330th in the country in % of bench minutes used (24.2%).

SIU went to Murray and beat the Racers 63-57 on December 29th. Lance Jones led SIU scorers with 21 points on 8-16 shooting. Marcus Domask had 20 points on 7-13 shooting and had 11 rebounds and 6 assists. Rob Perry carried Murray State with 26 points on 11-17 shooting.

So what, if any, disciplinary action does the arrestee face? I found it cryptically amusing, remember I hate Murray like Barkerp hates the team from Peoria, that the player was driving a vehicle with one headlight while breaking laws that will get a person cuffed and stuffed. I am willing to bet his major is not nuclear physics.

Murray State has only TWO true road victories this entire season, one @ Valpo and the other @ Evansville. Still, even without White, I expect this to be a TOUGH game. I'm sure they'll be looking for revenge since we took them out on their home floor. Need to keep the recent trend of strong starts going. Kenpom has SIU winning 67-61. Let's go !!
