I didn't get to watch the game, and it's apparent I missed a lot:
A big win, post-game scrum, subsequent twitter war between SIU and Murray fans, and a weird Bradley fan on twitter shaming the SIU student section for "rushing the court".

For all you younger folks that could not understand why a lot of us old guys did not want Meth State added. This is why and it’s the first year. MSU is a trash program and always has been.
What an absolutely entertaining game. murray. state players , and coach really wanted to win. I thought they played well and their coach had a great game plan. Salukis hit some 3's, Newton 50/50 ball was an amazing play to get a 3 ball. It will be tough to win the mvc tournament, but I believe this team can do it
Yet another hard fought victory last night. Murray is a extremely athletic bunch, but our defense once again dug deep and made stops. Big shots, and free throws were made. I hope the team got a well deserved break today. Another challenge awaits at Illinois State on Sunday. Hope to see a lot of Saluki folks there.

Just listened to Prohm on the radio show they do in Murray. He seems to have nothing but respect for SIU but I think Mullins struck a nerve with him and the fan base by calling them a “decent” fan base. 😂
He probably just invited a sellout there next year as they now have something to rally around.

Should probably add context to that post sir. He had just scored multiple straight baskets and the rest of the team, specifically Domask was struggling. I'm all about him getting some rest, but that rest should come in the flow of the game rather than predetermined game times. Also, the time for rest is for games against Evansville, UIC, etc. Not a hotly contested game vs a regional rival. ps. LOL
Murray looked a lot better than when we played them the first time. That was a really nice crowd, especially for a week night.

re: Lance Yes it would be great if we could rest him and Marcus more, and I think there have been games when BM could have but didn't. Last night wasn't one of them. One less minute of either one of those guys might have let Meth State (LOL) win!
It's a shame such a great game was marred by some trash at the end, whatever the cause. Still think MSU and Belmont are great adds to the MVC. Wouldn't mind kicking Redturd State out - they can join the OVC! (they are far dirtier - and I'm not talking about the athletics)

@quatroschallengesaluki it may have been me. thought it was poor timing for jones to have a break while he was having a hot start, we immediately lost the large lead and it was in the first six minutes or so, he barely broke a sweat. they get fifteen minute breaks at half time and a media time out every four minutes anyway, the only risk with them playing every minute is injury
