SIU welcomes Murray State to the Banterra Center for the first time as an MVC member and look to move to 9-2 in the Missouri Valley. The Racers have had a very up and down year including a win against #49 Texas A&M in their MTE. They only have 2 true road wins this year against #274 Valparaiso in OT and #349 Evansville. Murray State has been playing a 7 man rotation their last few games with Kenny White out because of his arrest. The Racers are 330th in the country in % of bench minutes used (24.2%). Racers Leaders: 6'4 Junior Rob Perry: 15.1 PPG, 4.5 RPG, 1.8 APG 6'8 Junior Jamari Smith: 12.3 PPG, 5.2 RPG, 0.9 APG 6'2 Sophomore JaCobi Wood: 12.0 PPG, 4.5 RPG, 4.5 APG, 1.5 SPG 6'7 Junior DJ Burns: 9.0 PPG, 7.2 RPG, 1.0 APG, 0.5 BPG Last Meeting: SIU went to Murray and beat the Racers 63-57 on December 29th. Lance Jones led SIU scorers with 21 points on 8-16 shooting. Marcus Domask had 20 points on 7-13 shooting and had 11 rebounds and 6 assists. Rob Perry carried Murray State with 26 points on 11-17 shooting.
