All these offensive fouls are p bag calls. Let them play.
Jones, XJ and Newton are such good defenders. Hoping that their in your face D wears Murray down as we get later into the 2nd half.
According to Murray's website he is a soph. He played one year at jr college last year. I don't think he gets a covid year, wasn't in college in '20I think Moore is a junior, so he should only have one more year.Perry and Moore are gonna be a bitch these next few years
Edit... Never mind, just looked, he is only a soph. Just assumed he was a junior since he was a jr college recruit.
Perry is listed as a Junior but think he's in the last class that gets the extra COVID year
Perry and Moore are gonna be a bitch these next few years
Perry is a really good shooter. Has one more year. Moore is just a soph.
BROWN!
TRENT BROWNS LET'S GO
Xavier Johnson is becoming a favorite of mine lately. Back to back piss poor turnovers from SIU though.
SIU 34
Murray St 30
Halftime
Jones leads scorers with 11
A minor note, but once again Wood (Murray) helped Domask up from the floor. I know they have a bad rep, and I myself have added to that discussion, but they have seemed good sports during both our games so far.
Moore would have looked good in Saluki maroon, i can see why we were hard after him on the recruiting trail. Too bad he choose those toothless Murray losers instead. lol
Perry is NBA level offensively, IMO.
I also think this is the first time we've seen Brown and Wonders on the floor together.
Murray gonna get so tired these next 20 minutes. We gotta get some boards. Block out better. Go dawgs!
In other news, UIC beating Missouri State at the half. UIC has been putting together some good first halves lately. Just need to hold on in the second half now.
We're letting Murray off the hook by jacking all of these terrible 3's
I love Nick Evans! I watched him ball at the Carbondale Holiday Tournament and, obviously, at SIU. He popped in my office (that I student worked at) on campus circa 2014 and he couldn’t have been more personable to my co-workers and me.
