Yes the coaching staff looked a bit disappointed and tired but that's only human after frustrations and a lot of hard work I'm sure.

Considering the circumstances this year I think they've done a great job actually. Sure hope most of our players come back, and if Dibba got another year, that would be fabuloso cuz I think he's a real talent. Also see Moreno, Aligbe, Steffe, Sykes becoming a real force for the Salukis. And sure hope Davis comes back to be a star in the MVC.

Folks. Dont be surprised if we lose half our team to the portal. Every team will go through the same thing pretty much. Davis almost assuredly will be gone. Too much money out there. We need better players anyway. This same group next year wouldn’t be much better.

Totally agree with you. The transfer portal has completely changed college sports. Every off-season there is going to be a massive turnover, because that's the culture now. The few players that actually stay more than one season in a program are going be few and far between IMO. I mean,  look that the programs that made it to the elite 8 and further last year. Most all of them had huge turnovers.

The only player I can Invision being a "lock" to return is Steffe. Only because he seems very connected to coach Hawkins.

If we can hold onto Davis and Dibba, add some PG depth behind a (hopefully) returning and healthy Elliott, land one more servicable/athletic 5 mixed in with Walsh's potential to seriously stretch a defense, although I know he'll only be a true freshman, and I think we'll really have something going into next year.

I like Sykes game too and would love to see him further develop as a Saluki. High hopes, I know, but dammit I'm so ready to see us finally win big again.

I think it’s easy to forget Jaheem Webber.  He’s basically a 3 star addition to the Freshman class we have coming in and we know Nagy likes using bigs

Tyler Bey also has big time talent/potential.
