Missouri St. getting a game from Little Rock, picked to finish 10th in their league. MoSt doesn't look that great to me. Bradley lost at St. Joes - a lot better opponent than Ark-LR.
Preseason 10th pick Ark LR beat MoSt in Sprngfld - first win in 8 tries against MoSt. DaSilva fell asleep and gave his man a wide open 18 ft shot with 5 secs left- swish.
MSU gives it up, Valpo hangs on.
MVC goes 3-2 tonight (unless our win counts, then it's 4-2)

Agree. Not a good night for the Valley at all. St. Joseph's was pre-season ranked near the bottom of the A-10 as well.

The Bradley loss was disappointing but at least on the road, so more understandable.
The Missouri State loss to Little Rock, though, was a killer, even though it's just opening night. They were without their expected starting center, highly touted JUCO transfer Gaige Prim, who has a mysterious injury, but they absolutely should have still beat that team at home. The Ozarks hype is going to fizzle fast if they don't get their s--- together quickly.
Pretty decent home wins for UNI and Valpo, and Loyola restored order after the exhibition loss.

Agreed. When I tuned in with 15ish remaining in the game LU was only down 7.
