Not surprised SIU didn't place anyone on either of these teams. That said, if we had to pick a most-improved Saluki, who would you go with? I don't know that anyone has taken a major leap, but I'm thinking either Muila or D'Amico, though you could make a case for Domask. 😀

Probably Muila for a non-Domask. Also like Dalton Banks’ improvement but obviously not much of a stat difference
Marcus scholar athlete of the year for the 2nd year in a row. An incredible accomplishment! Trent Brown 2nd team scholar athlete.

Not much there, but IF we had to give it to someone, it would be JD of Troy. I think Troy will be your MIP player next year.
Domask All-MVC First Team
Jones All-MVC Third Team, All-Defense
Johnson All-Defense
There wasn't a slam-dunk POY choice this year. It went to DeVries, which I get, but he had his struggles in the first half of conference play. I probably would have leaned Sheppard, who finished second in the voting.
As for the Salukis who were honored, congrats! First-team all-Valley plus MVC Scholar-Athlete for Marcus: well-deserved and won't look too shabby one day on a resume.
