Kind of a crazy opening night of games. Kind of shows that this season might be pretty unpredictable and every team might have a shot at doing pretty well or pretty bad, or everyone might end up tied at 9-9. Guess it will be interesting but overall looks to be a mediocre year when everyone was anticipating a real improvement. We will see, that's why they play the games! 😀

Oh I'm sure we'll get umassed a few times this year, especially since Cook has reverted to last year's play. I would predict away games against Loyola, Redturds, Bradley and a maybe a few home games have that possibility.

It's typical. This is just another attempt for the little huckster to hedge his bets on the Salukis ability to win a title in what by all accounts is a weak MVC. Wonder if he's convinced the administration and donor's again?????
The most interesting game today (outside of SIU's of course) is Evansville @ Illinois State; Evansville seems to really play together, where the Redbirds do not. Can Evansville go in and win in Normal? I wouldn't mind seeing the Redbirds sitting at 0-2!
Considering non-conference performance, it would be good for the MVC if the finished near the bottom. They're going to bring down some RPI's (not that it matters much) in the MVC if they finish in the upper half.
Valpo is hammering MoState at the half, up 22.
