Bradley are 0-3. Really thought they would be decent this year. I think Wardle’s seat is getting pretty hot.

0-4 now. Bradley fans are not pleased.  One of the posters points out that the top two teams in the league are from the Horizon.

It's a similar situation up there.  Here are a few quotes from the Star before the game:

"We thought these Braves had arrived last season when they notched 20 wins. The roster is virtually the same as last year. The coach is the same."

"Fans, of course, always have ideas. On the Journal Star message boards, threads show their tension. “Fire Wardle” and “Wardle has lost this team” and “Dead on Arrival” are among the discussion threads."

Wardle's contract runs through 2023 so it's unlikely they will make a change anytime soon.

They are absolutely in a tougher situation than us as far as getting rid of their coach. It will be interesting to see how the league shakes out over the next month or so. We could easily be bottom 4...could you imagine a Thursday date for Barry with a senior laden team and a Valley this weak?!? Sheesh

Valpo +8.5 at Loyola Tuesday night. It will interesting to see they can hold their own. Valpo will be in firm command if they could pull it off.

Craving a McBride Special!

They sure are in a tougher situation. The price tag to send Barry on his merry way is $175,000.

Wardle is probably in the million dollar neighborhood.

Bradley's administration may be even dumber than ours.  Why exactly did a guy need a long extension with no postseason trips delivered?

Wardle brought in some decent talent, but I've never been impressed with Bradley's on-court product during his time there. He and Barry Hinson are probably X's and O's equals, and that should tell you all you need to know.

This conference is a shadow of itself when two former Horizon League teams are the favorites to win now. I think that Bradley fan made a great point.

Loyola whips Valpo tonight 71 - 54. They were up by as much as 25.

This league is sufficiently mediocre that SIU will remain in striking distance all season.

This is true, the key word is "remain."

However, we know the outcome won't be favorable.

March on triumphantly!

If you want to feel good about our Offense just watch Bradley run their sets. It is painful watching them play.

If the Bradley score holds, then we will drop in to 9th place.
