Morant only had 8 points and 3 assists in 39 minutes last night. I watched bits and pieces of the game and thought I heard the announcers talk about Morant spraining his ankle early in the game.
He did about 2 minutes in to the game and was never the same

He's right - the MVC has a few very bad refs that essentially don't allow blocked shots (always a foul) and don't know when to call charging (often called when the defender is moving)! Also, I think traveling is often called when it really isn't traveling. Also a lot of guys get away with pushing the defender out of the way with the non-ball arm.
You know, I thought ISU BLUE had a chance to do some damage this year in the league. I saw them on TV a couple of times before the conference season and in those games I liked their size, athleticism and energy. I still like Lansing, but I have to admit I am disappointed in their performance in Valley play.
Loyola may end up winning the league but in reality they are no where near as good as they were last year. ISURED will continue to be mediocre until a coaching change.
I wish I saw a program emerging as the next Cr8ton or WSU.

Great win for Dana and MO State, and yet another example of why Muller needs to worry about actual coaching and keep his yap shut about Valley officiating, no matter how bad it is. Bradley pounds ISURED, then lays a HUGE egg at MO STATE.
