Yes they were, much more so than Bradley. Dave Snell sounded so depressed at the end of the Bradley broadcast.
It looks like Bradley got back to playing their Hinson offense. 37 points. Ouch.

Evansville is the victim of another blown call late in the game, but it probably would not have made a difference.

Keyshawn Evans is 5-7 from 3 at the half against Indy; if he keeps playing like that the 3-headed Redbird monster may start to finally play to their potential. He has had a pretty bad senior year so far.

Problem is you don't know which monster will show up. Plus they have so many knuckleheads on the team and Muller, I don't know they ever reach their potential. Yarbrough could dominate the league if he really wanted to.

How do you know it was a blown call? All it takes is one call from a pi$$ed off supervisor of officials......
He He He.
Just kidding. Maybe.
Gonna be fun when Missouri State is coming out of the Valley this year.... or Evansville... or Valpo... I mean for real.... If you had to make a 100 dollar bet on one team would you feel confident at all you could get it right?

It's a sad state of affairs. I think Loyola is the best team in the league, but I saw today that Williamson needs surgery and may be done for the year, and although that didn't hurt them against Team Hucky, it definitely weakens their defense and their depth. However, the "top" of the league is so weak this year that they could still win both the regular season and Arch Madness.
I still can't totally rule SIU out of winning Arch Madness if they find some late-season mojo, simply because no one in the league is consistently playing anything close to championship-level basketball.
There really isn't that much difference between 1st place and 10th place in the conference. Anyone from 1 to 6 can probably win. And the only reason not to include 7-10 is because they would have to play 4 games in 4 days to win it all. That would be pretty daunting for any team, much less teams with that little of talent.
A legitimate question I have right now for fans, media and coaching staff. One a scale of 1 to 10 how likely is it that we will play on Thursday in St. Louis?
If you go to a site called teamrankings.com ( https://www.teamrankings.com/ncaa-basketball/team/southern-illinois-salukis/projections) , it says that SIU has about a 48 percent chance to be a 7-10 seed in the tournament. It's highest probablility for a single seed is the 6 seed at about 1 in 6 chances with a record of 8-10.
