I like the freshman 7-footer (Robbins) Drake brought off the bench last year, and now with this guy, they should be in decent shape in the frontcourt, even with McGlynn graduated. And even assuming Nick Norton's 6th year appeal is denied, they return the Murphy twins and a couple pretty nice guards who were underclassmen on last year's team. Plus, DeVries has shown he can really coach.
Drake might not finish top two again next year, but I don't know that they'll fall back too far.
Lottich will not recover from this offseason, just as Hinson never recovered from that one disastrous offseason with Caroline and Co. transferring (and Valpo has lost more quality guys than Southern did that year).
Any remaining seasons Valpo sinks into Lottich are a waste of time in terms of their program competing for meaningful postseason, just as the last few seasons were with Hinson.

If I’m Valpo, I’m cutting ties with Lottich right now and bringing back Bryce Drew while he’s on the open market
Yup. I would too. Not sure what his contract situation is but that’s a mess right now.

I have zero issues with strong coaches coming into the league.
Team MVC just got destroyed by the WCC in the 3x3.
MVC loses to WCC 22-15 in their 3x3 opener. They play again at 5:40pm

The Missouri Valley needs Valpo to be relevant again or the conference will continue sinking into the abyss.
The Salukis need to be relevant again more so than Valpo.
