Missouri State added another grad transfer from Colorado State. He will be one of four D-I transfers who become eligible this year (two grad transfers, two who sat out last year): https://www.news-leader.com/story/sports/college/msu/2019/04/15/missouri-state-basketball-anthony-bonner-transferring-msu/3440532002/
Speaking of 2019-20 MVC contenders, Loyola got a verbal from what looks like a solid JUCO guard over the weekend, which fills a big need for them: http://loyolaphoenix.com/2019/04/keith-clemons-commits-to-loyola/
And despite Lansing being on the hot seat in Terre Haute, it looks like the Trees added to a pretty decent recruiting class: https://www.tribstar.com/sports/updated-lawrence-central-s-laravia-commits-to-sycamores/article_067bd370-5e73-11e9-958a-971669f3d02b.html
Purple Aces add the brother of an NBA player as McCarty continues to revamp the roster.
Mo state is loaded
nice pick up for Evansville
Not sure beating the E for a recruit is going to ease the heat on Lansing

Nice pickup for Bradley

Nice pickup for Bradley
That is a REALLY nice pick up for Bradley. I don't think the MVC will be as down as some thought it would be.

This GW transfer has to sit out a year, but Bradley will be among the favorites (along with Mo State and Loyola), anyway, with several core pieces returning from their Arch Madness-winning squad, plus a promising transfer from LSU coming in.
Drake, UNI, Illinois State and Indiana State should also be pretty decent, and Evansville's arrow is going to start pointing up. It won't be easy for Southern to avoid Thursday in Mullins' first year.
We can’t 100% confirm it but we have been told DePaul transfer John Diener will be at SIU this weekend for an official visit

So, he red shirted this year. He is a freshman. Will he have to sit out a year? Will he lose a year of eligibility?

Any relation to the Diener brothers who starred at Depaul/Marquette in the early 2000s?
Cousins of his.
The arrow desperately needs to start pointing up for The Valley after last year's lack luster results. Seems like there are some solid recruits coming in across the board. Once again, getting more than one team into the post season (NCAA and NIT......let's leave the other craptastic postseason tournaments out of the discussion) and then making some noise is key to keeping this conference in a relevant place in the college basketball landscape.

With Moser staying at Loyola, Bradley's stock rising, Mullins hiring, etc. the arrow is DEFINITELY pointing up for the MVC.

Not to mention the quality coaching hires made recently by Drake and Mo State. And maybe Evansville.
