Reports are it is coming out today. I think it will be fun to guess the two opponents we DON’T play.
I will go with UIC Here and Valpo There
only because I anticipate we will be picked in the top half and these two won’t be so for me this makes sense SO therefore I will probably be totally wrong. Plus these are two of the farthest opponents for us .

It would be great to be spared a trip to Frostbite Falls, as it seems like Southern has won there maybe once or twice in the last century.
I saw that yesterday reports were coming out that it would be released today. Did here that as of late last week not all of the Valley schools had seen the MVC schedule.
Been reading MVC site and funny when fans from Belmont and Missouri State complaining about their “weak” schedule’s . Their schedule would be our best schedule in years. I guess it is perspective.

Belmont played the 38th best non-con schedule last year on KenPom. Missouri State was 249th.

Wow 😮 unbelievable for Mullins and this year’s schedule isn’t looking good. Didn’t really realize how really bad it has become.

Last year had San Francisco at 23 in KenPom carrying the schedule. I think Saint Louis has that kind of potential but right now their 2nd toughest game is against UNLV who finished 90 last year (I also expect them to be better).
But you lose 2 Loyola games and the MVC will likely be much weaker. If you’re going to play a trash schedule, you better go out and win those games unlike they did last year. Losing to Little Rock, Northeastern and Tulsa and being in a battle with Alcorn State just can’t happen.
My biggest fear about going to 20 conference games was that teams would still refuse to drop the non-D1 games. And so far that has been a legitimate fear.
There is no excuse for non-D1 teams for be on the regular season schedule.
Northern Iowa playing Wartburg, Drake playing St. Ambrose, Bradley playing Wisconsin-Parkside, UIC, Valparaiso, AND Indiana State playing Trinity Christian(an NAIA school), Belmont playing Trevecca Nazarene, Murray State playing Lindsey Wilson(another NAIA school).
That is embarrassing. There are 351 D1 schools outside of the MVC. There should never, under any circumstance, be a school that is not Division 1 on your schedule. Willingly scheduling an NAIA school should have your ability to make your own schedules revoked and the league takes over.

MVC schedule is out. Doesn’t look like we go to Belmont. Also no Valpo home game.
- Was Really looking forward to a trip to Nashville and Murray State . I guess Murray will do.
@salukiworld Losing the two Loyola games but adding Belmont and Murray should be a wash I think. We only play Belmont once though. Murray won't be nearly as good as last year.
3 best players are gone in fact almost total turnover on that team, their OVC POY Center KJ Williams and their point guard Justice Hill to LSU, Tevin Brown to the NBA he hopes.
Every team on our schedule is D1. Hopefully we get to play Minnesota and not Cal Baptist.
Tenn. St and Alcorn St. sounds very Barbecue like.

This isn’t our full schedule yet, just the announced games. Still need about 4 non-conference games and only about 90 D1 schools haven’t released full schedules yet.
