Chattanooga was my 7th round pick in our annual college hoops draft and, at least to this point, they have gotten me 27 wins. What a great win. They had an auto-bid to the NIT since they won their conference but a win in the hand is better than 2 in the bush (depending on the bush I guess). LOL
If they had lost that would have been 1 less at large bid in the NIT. Missouri State, in order to get an at large NIT bid, needs a lot more low/mid majors who won their regular season conference championship to win their post season tournament like Chattanooga did.
Agreed, they're going to need a bit of luck and perhaps even some high majors declining to get in. They had some really bad losses and only have themselves to blame. Such a shame.................
Crazy ending between Bryant and Wagner. On-campus game that saw fanbases fighting and the game being delayed 30 minutes in a blowout.

Would you believe I also drafted Wagner in the last round (10th pick)?? Despite having quite a few games canceled (not made up) they still were 13-0 in conference and had won like 19 in a row (don't quote me on that ) until their best player was lost of the season due to ACL. They were clear favorites to win conference and go to NCAA but then lost 3 of 5 to end the season and finish 2nd. Now they won't be making any meaningful tourny.
Jake LaRavia and Wake Forest are on ESPN right now, LaRavia has half of the Demon Deacons points so far at the beginning of the 2nd half
Bruce Weber is likely done in Kansas State, he gave a great 6 minute statement after:

Georgia had their largest loss ever in the SEC tournament - 35 pts. to Vanderbilt, a team Loyola beat by 11 at Vanderbilt. Saw Aaron Cook throw up a few bricks. Scottie Pippen Jr. didn't play a lot for Vandy today, but he did leave Cook in the dust a few times. Georgia was 1 - 17 in the SEC. Who will Aaron Cook play for next year?

Helluva career.
Wonder if he's done or if he wants one final gig. There is an opening at Milwaukee (his hometown) if he wants to go full circle ...

Bruce is one hell of a great guy. Wish him nothing but the best. Love always at SIU.
Wonder if Bruce would consider coming back to SIU as special assistant to men's basketball? Certainly would not be a $$$ concern as he's made his millions. Just a thought.

honestly and objectively it was time and he knew it. he had one good year at k state and the rest was no post season or first round exits. 4 out of last 7 years were 8th place or worse. one 2nd round win in last 17 years. we've had one 2nd round win in 17 years and people here aren't happy about it despite having a fraction of the salary and budget. great guy and it's great what he did here but smart of him to step away now.
Craving a McBride Special!
Everyone needs to watch his last post game press conference to watch him explain things tells you all you need to know about what is wrong with college athletics at the power 5 schools and what is missing K state will miss Weber as he did things his way and right way if he does retire college basketball will miss him
Michigan with a 17 point 2nd half collapse against Indiana

He's not wrong at all but he did choose to get in bed with P5 for a long time
his hair is going to get very, very long.
