This is the craziest tournament I have seen in awhile the madness is back
Yes, typical Madness and typical embarrassment for Big 10/whatever. Purdue has the most legitimate shot, and has from the jump, but I would not bet on them now given the dismal performance of their contemporaries. Eight of NINE Big 10 teams eliminated.
Next year will be a rinse and repeat though. Way to go selection committee.
March on triumphantly!
Money talks unless you are special
Here's hoping Texas Tech puts Coach K out permanently
Saint Peter's down 4 at the half to Purdue
Not only are they the first 15 seed in the elite eight, Saint Peter's didn't win because they hit a lot of 3's or were lucky. They have played three really good games.

Yeah usually you see a Cinderella make a run because their bracket breaks but not the case here. 3 legit wins, nothing flukey about this run.
Past two years the BIG has gotten 18 teams in and only 3 have advanced to the second weekend. Meanwhile, the ACC who supposedly had a down year, has three teams in the elite 8. Nuff said.

And the Metro Atlantic has 1 more team than the Big 10. 🤣

Imagine the unexpected windfall the Metro Atlantic is getting with this Elite Eight run. And it probably doesn't happen if Iona beats Rider in their first MAAC Tournament game.
Maybe so, but Saint Peters could easily beat Iona as well as they're playing now.
Unfortunately it looks like a tournament that is setting up for coach K to ride off as a champion or cheating Bill Self to claim one the state of big time NCAA athletics is so disheartening I am being pushed to place I don't like as I have been a big fan for years and now I find myself not even caring

Oh gee whiz. Has it not been like this forever? The big schools always win. I think it's been a very entertaining tournament. Some mid-majors have done pretty well too
This just seems different in my opinion the transfer portal is destroying basketball in particular as all good mid major talent is going to power 5 schools to get a better deal which really puts a damper on mid majors actually making dents in the future as culture and continuity will take a premium effort for sustainable growth in the future
Yeah....still waiting for the NCAA to hand out punishment for Kansas. Could they be waiting to strip them of an NCAA championship? I wouldn't think so......considering the school the NCAA will give them a good talking too.....which is a bunch of crap. Also seeing that Memphis has multiple violations.
C'mon NCAA if this were mid-major schools they would likely impose devastating recruiting and post season sanctions as well as fines.
The NCAA needs to show some stones with the blue bloods.
