Obviously rooting for another magical Saint Peter's win but also hesitant because it means an easier game for Duke in final four

Love hearing about what a great guy Bill Self is and how awesome this Final Four run is for Kansas when they're facing NCAA sanctions

Kansas won't get sanctioned. They will hammer Missouri-Kansas City and call it close enough.

Top three still alive - top three cheaters that is.

Just a sample:

Massive cheating at UNC that involved 3100 students and went on for several decades went unpunished. Should have received the death penalty, but:

Wainstein Report (2014)[edit]

Former U.S. Department of Justice official Kenneth L. Wainstein commissioned an independent investigative report of the UNC AFAM department.

In February 2014, the university hired Kenneth L. Wainstein, a former official in the United States Department of Justice, to conduct an independent investigation.[58][59]

On October 22, 2014, the report was released reporting that for 18 years, at least 3,100 students took "nonexistent" classes, saying, "These counselors saw the paper classes and the artificially high grades they yielded as key to helping some student-athletes remain eligible." The report named both Julius Nyang'oro and Debbie Crowder as facilitators of the practice.[60][61][62]

On October 13, 2017, the NCAA announced it would not levy penalties against North Carolina, saying it "could not conclude that the University of North Carolina violated N.C.A.A. academic rules."

And Zion Williamson somehow drives a luxury car at Duke?

NCAA is slow walking charges against Bill Self, blah, blah.

And of course cheaters like Pitino, Sampson, Pearl, Sean Miller, Calipari, etc are still coaching!!

USA Today article

The NCAA called Kansas coach Bill Self a cheater nearly 1,000 days ago. His power has only grown. | Opinion (msn.com)

I was thinking about the cheaters not always being the ones facing the punishment and this came to mind. It's difficult to punish someone like Self because there would always be another job for him but what about the players? Has the IRS ever gone after a player or family of a player who received compensation and not reported it as income? I think I know the answer but why wouldn't they?
