As I said in the preseason, San Fran was going to be one of our, if not THE, toughest non-conference game and I stand by that. I believe they are better than both Colorado and Creighton and hind sight has only strengthened that opinion. This would be an impressive home win if the Salukis could pull off the upset. But there is other important games (each) to be played before then.

Turegon has been the Dana Ford of the Big Ten the last decade. Lot of great recruiting classes but they underachieve pretty much every season. Maryland will be a very attractive job this offseason.

SIU literally has two non-D1 teams on the schedule. It's the same exact mindset. Don't throw stones

I don't follow your logic. Purdue is Division I and SIU is Division I. Kansas State is Division I and SIU is Division I. It's not the same thing. Not even close. We are not Division II and the fact that we play teams like Little Rock and Alcorn State shows exactly the opposite. We give lesser teams the opportunity to step up. You are way off. Matt Painter never complained about Division II not scheduling us. He complained that Division I wouldn't schedule us. Who exactly are you accusing us of refusing to schedule? You are talking about nothing more than exhibition games or taking wins off of non-Division I schools.
By the way...Purdue and Kansas State both have Division II schools on their schedule.

what on earth does siu playing non-D1 have to with painter not scheduling us in 10+ years? are you drinking again?
