Not exactly Murder's Row.
I'm not sayin' -- I'm just sayin'!
This thing is even more of a joke than the RPI.
the Ohio Sate #1
Loyola Marymount #10
Kentucky #61 (obviously they're here because of our game with them) LOL
"The bureaucratic mentality is the only constant in the universe." ~Dr. Leonard H. McCoy
Colorado State 204?!
...with a 25 pt (at home) win over Pine Bluff.
I don't feel confident in predicting the outcome here--SIU has been remarkably inconsistent.
(1) US COVID-19 statistics (February 29, 2020-June 16, 2020): 2,124,000 reported cases and 115,052 deaths
(2) Donald Trump (June 15, 2020) told a group of senior citizens that there would be very few cases of COVID-19 if the US stopped its testing and contact tracing: "If we stop testing right now, we'd have very few cases, actually."
(3) Donald Trump [(Jan 20, 2020), when asked if he's worried about a pandemic]: “No. Not at all. And we have it totally under control. It’s one person coming in from China, and we have it under control. It’s — going to be just fine.”
145th is good, right?
I guess it is if you're 146th.
I'm not sayin' -- I'm just sayin'!
This early in the year those computer rankings are crazy. RPI seems a little more accurate (Kansas #1) ..... except for #4 Murray, #9 Citadel, #20 Houston Baptist, #30 Redturds, #48 Salukis! LOL!
RealtimeRPI has our record incorrect; it says we beat UMASS
I think it comes down to sample size now. Numbers are going to change a lot over the next few weeks. These numbers won't get accurate until we get into conference season.

Exactly. I'm not putting much stock into any ranking systems until at least the end of December. I'll likely compare how the NET matches up to the RPI, mainly to see how it affects the mid-majors' numbers.
Our NET ranking is up to 81 after SLU win.
So since we're on top of the NET for the Valley, that means we'll start seeing SIU on the weekly bracketologies. When's the last time we got to see that? 2008?

Wow you need oxygen. Step back and take a deep breath. Maybe a little smelling salt also.
We will go up with the UMASS win last night over Providence and the Tulsa win over Oklahoma State.
