Trent Brown is shooting with so much confidence now. I think he had some confidence issues last year and was hesitating a little. Not so much this year.
I still can't get over the fact that he is a pretty good defender. I wouldn't have made that bet at the beginning of last year !!!
Currently 2/10 from 3pt land.
If you're gonna reply to me in the forums, please quote what I wrote that you're replying to so I have a clue...thanks! 😀
SIU isn't hitting shots but are holding the lead because of good defense. If these shots start to fall, they could have another blowout.
Jumpshots are struggling to fall for the team but Domask scoring and more aggressive today. All season he's been good at rebounding and passing so he's contributing even when not scoring.
Domask, Filewich, Jones, and D'Avanzo all with 2 fouls

Filewich and Domask the leading scorers with 7, Harvey the leading rebounder with 7. Not too great of a half shooting and a lot of foul trouble. I kind of wish Mullins trusted a few of the 2 foul players, Verplancken was giving them nothing and North Dakota was able to get it down to 4 at the half.

I felt like I was taking crazy pills last year when I tried explaining to people that coming into the season the belief was he could shoot the lights out, but not defend a lick
Filewich is the positive for me so far in the day. Good half, keep it going kid
That is two 3pt shots in a row (D'Avanzo and Domask) where there was NO ONE under the basket for a potential rebound. Something that has always driven me insane .
Got to think there's some tired legs with the jumpshooting so far. Salukis are taking a ton of 3's.
It's encouraging that the Salukis are not playing that well and still winning by 10+.

Salukis beginning to pull away. Don't think they've looked great today but can't complain about a 16 point lead at the under 8 timeout and think tired legs have a lot to do with it.
I really like Filewich's positioning on many of the rebounds. I imagine him next year with a little more speed, agility, mobility, etc. He could be a good one in the valley. I would like to see him go up and dunk every now and then but scoring is more important than how you do it I guess.
