In my opinion Miller did have a good game tonight. He looked confident, drove the lane multiple times resulting in impressive dimes for easy buckets. Scoring doesn't always dictate how good of a game you have. He played very good on ball defense, switched when needed, etc. Much better showing. He is quick, can play good D and has a very good ability to find folks in the open court. Tonight was a good step in the right direction for Trey.Sheridan Sharp just burned that redshirt for 30 secs of play. Hope we see a lot more of him.
Wonder if it means not so good news for AJ. Can’t imagine they burned it for no reason
No, don't worry. AJ will be back after Break. My guess is they no longer see Trey as a viable option at PG. Notice how he's been playing alongside Xavier lately. Going forward, I see Sharp as our back-up PG and hopefully Trey can get some more minutes at the 2G. Trent has earned his starting spot, but there's no way he needs to be in there 36 minutes a game.
Miller is not an MVC PG. If he can't score at the 2g, not sure what minutes he can get.
Brown made some big threes late but no way he should be playing 36 minutes. Was not productive most of the game.
Need more minutes from Ebube, AJ, Hensley, Sharp, and eventually Hornecker.
Don't know if Stulic is sick or what - he has just disappeared lately.

Scottie Ebube with Saluki Radio:
Yeah, he could make decent money in the Big 10.Ebube - imagine him as a senior if he can keep progressing.

I was wrong---the game in Evansville would have been 66---end of 65-66 season
Yes, Ebube certainly made his presence felt. Let's hope that Mullins can continue to mold this kid into a more complete player. Can he develop a shot from say 6-8 feet out?
@frog i would settle for developing his free throws.
Scottie showed how he can turn around a game. I look forward to his continued improvement throught the season!! Go Dawgs!
Ebube and Hensley were bright spots in last night’s game. Some of the best ball movement and rebounding I’ve seen all season. They need more minutes.
Hensley looks to be a big help in the coming games. Would like to see Stulic regain his offensive form.
Get ready to start seeing the “Hack a Shaq” defense on Ebube if he doesn’t start looking better at the free throw line.
Looking forward to the “Blizzard” Friday night.
@mr_woogers correct. 4 games in football. You can play exhibition games in basketball, but once you play in a regular season game you've used the year. Though you can appeal. Healthy red-shirts are things of the past now. Players won't accept. There's no need to.
