The last time the refs were this bad at the end of a game to try and influence the outcome, it was the US team losing to the Russians back in the '72 Olympics.
You've got the patently obvious goaltend that was taken away (THE BASKET WAS MOVING!!!), the clean block by Davis under a minute left that was called a foul, the completely BS technical foul called on D'Amico, and this .4 second deal at the end of the game to give OK State one last shot WHEN THEY WERE ALREADY OUT OF TIMEOUTS!
Had we lost this one, those refs might not have made it out of the building before getting tarred and feathered.
I think the .4 one was actually the correct call. Looked like the clock started before they touched it. The rest were all a joke. Total ref show, Bryan has a lot more composure than us cause I think most of us would've been thrown out lol
did we win, or are they still trying to screw the bobber?
Ok, so the refs decided that the scorekeeper started the clock to early and gave OSU the ball back with .4 on the clock at the end. So.... where did the other .1 go? If they started the clock early, why wouldn't they get the full .5 that was on the clock before the free throw was shot? I'm totally baffled by that one. Are they saying if the scorekeeper had started the clock .2 early that they would have gotten another chance with .3? I'm lost on that decision. lol
Clock was at .4 before the free throw. At least that's what the TV was showing
Nice win! I reiterate - this team is better than expected.
I will be at the the game when Ind. St. plays here.
I'm betting we will play them much tougher with much better defensive preparation.
Ok, i must have dreamed it being at .5 for some reason. If it was at .4 then that makes sense. I just thought they took .1 off for some reason and was totally confused. hahaOk, so the refs decided that the scorekeeper started the clock to early and gave OSU the ball back with .4 on the clock at the end. NIce call by Mullins to put Scottie instead of Rupert on the last inbounds play. And I didn't think Scottie could jump that high. Nice win. This team has some nice chemistry...and we didn't have A.J. Ferguson tonite.
Speaking of Ferguson, anyone know what his status is? Nothing is broken right?
Clarence better not drink any energy drinks tonight. He was hyper enough in the post-game interview!

Yeh that was like the Russian Olympic win years ago - serious bullshit!
A player can't even show emotion after making a big play?
🤣 🤣 Rodney just made a reference to that!

Does anyone know what D'Amico did to get the tech? That seemed like classic refshow to me.
I certainly hope we don't get complaints that we barely beat a crap BIG XII team. OSU was clearly the more gifted/talented team, Size, strength, quickness, and ability. Gutsy win, without AJ, Cade, and Sharp. and despite the horrid referees. As I have said numerous times, this team is going to surprise the naysayers. A10 and BIG XII victories. Any believers yet?
GO DAWGS!!!
XJ back to the 2nd leading scorer in the country ahead of Zach Edey.
Have to inform my son-in-law (Purdue grad) of that!! 😀

He dared to show emotion after getting a timely block at the end of the game.
That's it... really.
He was excited for making that big block, no insults tossed around, no taunting, no ANYTHING other than being pumped up after a big play... and the ref decided to be whistle-happy and T'ed him up for it. Pathetic.

I went to 2 of the Oklahoma State boards I posted in the first post and in between them wanting the coach fired, they're laughing about how bad that call was
