He says he was gassed quickly in the early days of practice and first game.

The flow of this game brought back memories of Williams,Dearman and associates taking down 2 (?) seed Georgia after falling behind by 23 (32-9 I believe).

Northeastern game seems like forever away.
How good are they? Seems like it should be a very winnable game.
Creighton v SIU would be something.
Creighton would be a huge test........and a huge win if The Dawgs could pull it off.
I would be a sweet game to play Creighton in the championship game. What a good rivalry that used to be.
Also can say the Mullins out-coached Boyle tonight. The trap late in the game seemed like something he was saving for just that occasion. It really set the tone for that last minute.

Anyone that was doubting Verplancken's ability to play D1 should stop now. I will be the first to admit while I thought we could win, I had a feeling a lot of things needed to go our way. And here's the thing, we won and I don't think that was close to our best performance. Go Dawgs!
