I can’t be the only one thinking we look and have looked poorly coached this season.
Can you coach scoring? MD is 1-14 this game. 🤮
yeah, hate to say it, but if Domask has just his average game tonight, doesn't need to be great, just an average performance from him, and we win this game.

I disagree. Strongly.

Yeah this was definitely not coaching. Poor shooting frOm almost everyone…got good looks too. I guess you could say his coaching from the previous game where he played Steven V. and Domask for 40 minutes may have contributed, but he’s down two guys right now.
Now there is a really quick turnaround to play a good Creighton team…hopefully they find their legs and shooting touch
4pts, 4rbs combined from our three bigs tonight. Banks keeps playing big minutes, but hasn't made a field goal yet this SEASON.
Things are just not looking good right now.
Jones needs some help. Can’t question the effort but something is missing. Lots of offense running through Domask when he’s struggling. Harvey and Brown needed.

How? IF he has an average shooting night for him, its a tie at worst.
Northeastern was the better team (tonight) period. But if the Salukis can somehow steal a win from Creighton tomorrow, all is well.
Our offense looked really bad all night. We shot poorly, but I also thought our spacing was bad and we weren't moving well with or without the ball. We played outstanding defense overall, but unless we figure our offense out we will be in trouble. The refs were pretty bad in the second half calling nickel/dimers on us and letting Northeastern get away with many fouls. We really missed the minutes Brown and Harvey could have given us yesterday and today. Domask, Jones and Verplancken have played way too many minutes. They were tired and you could tell. I'm not optimistic about even being competitive tomorrow because we won't have any legs.
Northeastern is a very good defensive team, maybe the best we will see this year. Every team we have faced this year has been long and athletic. Maybe it's just that D1 college basketball has gotten longer and more athletic and we have not!
Craptacular.
Don't stand a chance with cr8ton.
NU was picked 2nd in their league. Played very good D and better O 2nd half. Also had a big size advantage.
I thought we played very good D until the last couple of minutes. Our O was awful except for Jones.
Jones had a very good game both O and D. Had a couple of steals and a block. Only 2 TOs (stats say 3 but one of those was a pass right thru KF's hands). Even not hitting a single 3 (0 - 6), he had 21 points on layups and runners and FTs. Need more than one guy contributing on O.
Domask was 1 - 14 and 0 - 4 from 3. Missed a lot of layups too. He had some good looks too. With a normal night from MD, we win this game.
Would be nice to get Brown and Harvey back.
What a disappointing loss. I did enjoy watching Jones and Walters go at it (except for the trash talking), but as a team we played badly. Domask absolutely killed us...throwing up airballs, getting shots blocked, missing free throws, and going 1-14. Hopefully, this is the worst game we'll ever see from him. Filewich is a such a liability on defense. If he's not scoring down low, he really doesn't help us. Banks and Verplancken disappeared for most of the game. Coupet was the only bright spot other than Jones.

I will do a cartwheel in my living room and then promptly go to the ER if we beat Creighton tomorrow.
I wouldn’t bet any money on it, not even 10 bucks.

Team just looked sluggish at times.
LJ: we had a lot of stops and a lot of good looks - poor shooting.
Watson to Lance: best D I've seen you play.
As soon as our team is healthy, I'd like to see a depth chart that looks something like this:
5) Muila/Filewich
4) Domask/D'Avanzo
3) Coupet/Harvey
2) Verplancken/Brown
1) Jones/Banks
Redshirt Ebube and Wonders. I really can't understand why we're not doing the same with D'Amico, if he's never going to play meaningful minutes.

D'Amico is ineligible for a redshirt because once you play any minutes during the regular season, you can't get a redshirt barring a medical redshirt for injury. It's why Wonders and Ebube didn't play in the Austin Peay game and Chris Cross did.
