He may not have ever been SIU's head coach, but no doubt Rodney is an all-time great among Saluki basketball coaches given the way he bridged successful eras, and a helluva guy to boot. Best wishes to him.

Why the hate? Watson is the winningest coach in USI history and took his team to the final four last year. And your statement regarding SEMO shows you know nothing of that situation this time and how it went down. Quit hating , he's retired.
