Now that the scholarships are filled, the next bit of news we should get is a schedule for next year. Right now we have:
@ Oklahoma State (completing a 2 for 1, Oklahoma State should be much improved under Lutz)
vs Southern Indiana (2nd home game of a 3 or 4 for 1)
@ North Dakota State (I believe last year’s game was a home and home)
I don’t know the status of the SLU series or if any of the other games last year were home and homes like Queens possibly.
It’s a good enough roster to play a decent schedule. I hope that they do.
That's a very good opponent. Mack has brought in a lot of talent
Great opportunity for game 1!!! Hopefully with all of the new players from Texas, we try to get a game down here in the Lonestar State!

Game will be streaming on YouTube/Twitter and it seems like SIU plays Charleston at 11 AM that day so they’ll quite literally be opening the college basketball season
Interesting opener and a good opportunity. Charleston is putting a lot of resources into hoops these days.
Hopefully thousands of SD State fans will turn out to support Nagy. 😀
Really good early season test…no gimme games to start the year so they need to gel as a group quickly. Should be fun!

To be clear this is a one game event, correct ?

Yeah it's just one game against Charleston. I assume they'll still have an MTE later in the season
If this team is as sneaky good as I think they can be, I will definitely consider going to the MTE.
Just happened to be on the Missouri S&T athletics site earlier for a personal reason and happened to see a game vs. SIU pop up on the coming events side of the website.
Looks like we will host them on Nov. 8.

I'm assuming this will be the first "official" home game of the season and of the Nagy era. We may have an exhibition before this.
S&T is D2 so playing up against SIU will be an exhibition for them, but this will count as a real game for the Dawgs. However, it won't count for the NET or RPI, as far as I know.
I'm assuming this will be the first game after the Field of 68 vs. Charleston. I was hoping for a sexier opener after that game. If the Dawgs start strong, there could be a lot of buzz come that weekend.
But I get wanting to open at home with a lesser opponent since so many guys will have so many jitters with a whole new roster practically. Just wish the lesser opponent wasn't a D2. Miners went 15-12 last season. Assuming the Dawgs are paying a nice guarantee to buy this one.
Salukis will be headed to the sunshine state in November. A nice buy game!

Do you know what school?
@salukiworld Chomp Chomp. But what do I know? I apparently never have any good info.
