Florida game is at 6:00 PM on SEC Network. I think tickets go on sale for Florida on the 14th
Hope hurricane season is over by then or Gainesville might not be there.

In 37 years of living in this wacky state, I can't remember Gainesville ever taking a direct hit. The tournament site in Estero that SIU will travel to a few days later is closer to the Gulf and would be more at risk. Hurricane season ends Nov. 30, but November storms usually are weaker because the waters surrounding Florida have cooled a bit. Then again, anything is possible during this crazy hurricane season.

Gainesville had some damage from Helene but nothing like Cedar Key. Luckily they're not close to the coast. Valdosta, just north of the line, got nailed. I have a relative in Inverness and they got some serious wind damage... about 30 miles inland.
I've been to FGCU too. Betting they got some damage from Milton.
Milton made tornadoes and 100 mph winds even inland if you were unlucky enough to be in the path. Even the East coast got creamed evidently.
bloggingthebracket.com has five teams scheduled to play in the Gulf Coast Showcase with no three teams "TBD" as had been previously shown. bloggingthebracket.com was updated today for the first time in nearly a month. The GCS website has yet to show anything regarding the men's tournament.

Does anyone know about tickets for the field of 68 in Sioux Falls ?
Truly not trying to be argumentative, but if I lived anywhere close to Carbondale, I would say EVERY home game is worth going to. Also, unlike some, I personally think it's a good idea to have some lower profile teams on the early schedule when you are trying to find your identity as a team. They have enough challenges therein to get them ready for conference, but early they need to find out who and what they are.
Newly living back in southern Illinois, and I agree with this sentiment.
I plan to go to every home game I can this year. I’m psyched for all the newcomers and for the Nagy era.
Let’s go!
@cowboydawg I have a ticket to the games. All three games are covered by one ticket, $20, and there's the option to get a $10 voucher for a hotdog, chips, and a drink. I'm not really interested in the third game, but will probably stick around for it, anyway. I'm looking forward to seeing what kind of team Coach Nagy has put together and, also, seeing Robbie Avila, Isaiah Swope, and Josh Schertz for St. Louis, after their outstanding performance last year at InSU.
I purchased the ticket directly from the Sanford Pentagon ticket office (I called rather than using the website). Here's the website:

(Runs away before Spike sees the 3rd game is a D2 school)
Louisiana Tech may be the best team in this tournament. They are pre-season CUSA favorites and they have the preseason player of the year who is an absolute beast. It would have been nice to play Richmond who is pre-season 7th in the A-10, but Louisiana Tech is probably better. EKU is picked 4th in the ASUN coaches poll and 2nd in the media pre-season poll so they definitely won't be a NET killer and should be pretty decent. Ball State picked 7th in the MAC pre-season poll so we got two of the tougher mid majors in the tourney. Don't like playing a D2, but they had to fill out the tournament. A couple good mid major matchups, so not bad at all.https://twitter.com/siu_basketball/status/1852017930973679895?s=46&t=7s0hTttieSER8wqRSA0LoA

Louisiana Tech is 107 in KenPom, Eastern Kentucky is 285.
Wouldn’t be shocked if EKU beats that projection by a good margin , A.W. Hamilton is a really good coach. They play at a really fast pace, were 2nd in the country is 2 of his first 3 years there.
The combination of not playing Richmond and playing a D2 team (sigh) is not great, but it was evident by the fact this field was not announced til freakin’ Halloween that this event was facing big challenges this year.
No doubt La Tech and EKU are both capable of making it a bad trip if Southern has a post-Gator hangover. I know EKU’s coach was briefly floated on social media for SIU’s opening in the spring.
EKU ended with a NET of 219 last year and La Tech ended with a NET of 99. I think both are supposed to be a little better this year. Hopefully La Tech is sub 100 and EKU is sub 200.Louisiana Tech is 107 in KenPom, Eastern Kentucky is 285.

Richmond had a NET of 73 but are supposed to take a big step backwards this year. Ball State had a NET of 258 last year and are expected to be similar this year.
