I want to give some credit to Benson here. He didn't have a great game but we don't win if he doesn't make those two clutch free throws in the last minute. I would never have guessed that he makes both and Domask misses both. That's not to take away from Domask. he was outstanding.
He missed 3 point-blank bunnies where he failed each time to use the backboard, instead trying to finesse it into the hoop. He's done it in previous games as well but today was the first time I really paid attention. He should know better.

headed north and had the italian beef and sausage combo at portillo's.
took my grandchildren to their first saluki game. afterwards, one of them says "grandpa bobber, do the redbirds always lose?" i said "when they are playing the salukis, yes."
watched the game with salukitalk/saluki nation/saluki insider legends the MSN Saluki and mr. woodcock. i know they don't post much, but they are both doing well.
had me a giordano's on the way home.

I did not.
I had faith they’d avoid last place, did not have so much optimism that not only would they be positioning themselves to avoid Thursday but perhaps even finish top half of the conference. Future is for once bright my friends, and that is coming from a well noted boobird
just back from turdville. had to listen some chump all game talk about how SIU is the worst team in the country. i don't know much, but i do know that the salukis are in 3rd place in the valley. how's life in the cellar punk?
