They are letting an awful lot of contact go on both sides. Completely taking away any semblance of an offensive flow. The only way ISU is scoring is off of turnover run outs. Ugly game so far.
ISU defense is playing much, much better than they usually do.
The good news is it can only get better the second half. We just need to play smart on offense and limit turnovers. ISU has had some easy buckets off turnovers. Feels like we’re down by a lot more than 6
I had a lot of confidence and hope going into this game. I need to temper my expectations. It's unfair to expect this team to win any road games YET. Next year will be a different story. I'm not saying they can't eeek out a victory, but I'm certainly not expecting it. At this point, I just don't want them getting blown out and losing what momentum and confidence they gained this week.
