I was travelling in Mexico for work and unable to watch the game. I was fearful of a blowout but even I wasn't expecting a 25pt drubbing. I know some disagree and they like "tough scheduling", but I'm simply not convinced a game like this can help them down the road. I personally think that a team learns a lot more from a highly contested game, regardless of the opponent.
Wichita state beats SLU by 25, Wichita state loses to Florida by 37.
Maybe Florida is just really good?

I thought before the season that they would be one of the top teams in the SEC and haven't seen anything to change my mind. Keep an eye on the coaching situation, though.
SIU's schedule is 33rd in the country right now by KenPom. This is the toughest schedule we've played since 2009 probably. Doesn't make up for the Eastern Kentucky disaster though.
Also doesn't make up for slow starts and lack of urgency at the beginning of games
Pretty sure they’re not really bad!Maybe Florida is just really good?

It's hard to take that seriously when they've played 2 D2 teams.
@spike not sure where you stand on a d-1 team playing a d-2 team in the regular season, can you clarify this for us?🤣🤣🤣

Yeah doesn't include the D2 teams they played which is why it doesn't really feel like it. Even if you include the D2 teams, it probably still ends up being the toughest schedule since 2009
