I think we want Drake to beat Bradley, right. Wouldn't that give us Bradley in the 8/9 game and Drake if we beat Bradley? However, last I checked Bradley was up 1 in the 2nd half. If you want to look at tonight as glass half full, it look like we would have still finished no better than 7th with a win as Valpo, UNI and Evansville are on their way to wins.

Just JOKING! Lance is a talent - 30 pts on 11 - 17 shooting playing 43 minutes - just needs a little help...nice game by DAvanzo too.
Jones had 7 TOs (actually 6, one was a dropped pass by Brown) - too many - but he did play 43 minutes and handles the ball far more than any other player. Brown, Harvey, Filewich, and Banks total 10 pts! Need more production from them to beat a team like Loyola.

IMO, a rematch with Bradley is the best possible scenario for SIU

I agree, but I would have rather faced Drake in the 2nd round game and it looks like they will get the 2 seed down 8 to Bradley late. Drake will be without Penn and possibly Hemphill.

It's official, Bradley at 5PM Thursday and then Loyola at 11AM Friday after we beat Bradley. Would have preferred Drake, but we showed we can play with Loyola.

5-13 doesn’t make me happy, I’m not gonna lie. We probably go 8-10 or 9-9 with Domask. I honestly thought we could be 10-8/11-7 with health.
So, I’m disappointed, but I’m aware of the challenges this season brought.
It seems like expectations on the board varied. Some were already chalking up the year to youth, and others had higher hopes. All I want in 21-22 is a team that looks like it belongs with the top athletic teams in the conference. That’s it. I trust Mullins. I hope this all moves forward the right way.
