my expectations for this season have changed so much at this point. I'm actually looking at the schedule and thinking we may win 20 games this year. Unbelievable
This team came out today with SWAGGER! They controlled the majority of the game against a good Drake team that's very tough to beat at home. Wow!
I'm so impressed with this group. They're playing with more confidence right now than any Saluki team I can remember since the glory days when we were going to the dance every year.

Marcus Domask is a man. These kids are playing so beyond their years; it’s amazing.
As was mentioned before, so not overlook how the Dawgs now use Benson in their offense. So much of the motion and ball movement goes through him now. Why? Well, I’m sure Mullins has noticed the increased confidence he’s playing with currently. To have a big man move with your offense with and without the ball helps out so many things.
Jones and Brown have grown so much, too. And McGill is turning into a leader. It’s just amazing.

It's not going to happen anytime soon. He doesn't have a resume big schools are going to crave yet. He's gonna need a lot more experience as a head coach before anyone worth a damn is going to call.

I was just looking through the career stats for siu players trying to see where Domask might rank among all time freshmen in scoring..... and I noticed Thad Matta played at SIU.... how the hell did I not know that?
I remember watching Thad play for the Hoopeston Cornjerkers in the state tournament. He was a very good high school player. I think they got to the Final Four.
The Matta's ended up transferring to Butler.
