Valpo has lost four, count 'em four, straight home games, so they're either a really poor home team or very due for a home win. Or both.
Speaking of poor home teams, the Crusaders won the first meeting in Carbondale and are going for the sweep, with potential tiebreaker implications for STL. To the extent that avoiding Thursday is a meaningful goal, both teams badly need this one, with Valpo (6-8 MVC, currently in 8th place) being especially desperate for a W.
I think we are going to win again. No idea why, just think there may be a sense of urgency with the seniors and Valpo is struggling... I will say 68-65 Salukis. As always though we could win by 20, lose by 20 or play a triple overtime game. who knows.

I'm going with a win, too. We play harder on the road, and Valpo isn't playing well. It's a poor matchup for us, though.
They beat us easily first time, ahead most of the game by 9 or more. I think they'll do it again. They have the Lavender factor! I'm sure he'd prefer beating us to any other MVC team, judging from his reaction after the first win. Not sure what their injury situation is - they may have an effect.
Lavender was their leading scorer in their last game a couple days ago.

The game line opens as a pick 'em.
Hoping we can pull this one out for the sake of not playing In the PIG.
Looking forward to listening to game and having a couple colds ones, the league backed up to us and BH has a chance to finish top 3 if he can pull off some big wins, curious to see how siu finishes this thing out.

The announcers on ESPN Plus seem impartial. I like it. Not homers although that's what is expected.
