I know I've said this before but Hensley is quite possibly the worst 5th year player I've ever seen.

Nothing is easy for this team. Regardless, we got a road win. I can’t complain too much about that. But it would be nice to see a complete game for once.

Didn't seem like Sykes played much in the 2nd half after playing really well in the 1st half. I'm surprised Sykes doesn't play more.

Hensley can’t make anything close

Probably unfair to O'Brien, but I think of him a lot when watching Hensley. If Sean O'Brien had been a better FT shooter and could have made even half of his bunnies, he'd be one of the all-time greats.

(Cue the "If my aunt had balls" comments . . .)

True. Sean was All-Conf even with the mediocre shooting. His FT shooting drove me crazy because he had sooo many opportunities.

You know, you also thought Xavier Johnson was a POS. so there's that.

(Inflammatory political snark)

I thought Mayo played well off the bench.  Still looks like something is bothering him but he’s one of the players giving the most effort

Huh?? Not me! I loved XJ - wish he had one more year..but some Big 10 team would have stolen him with their deep pockets.

Johnson was 24 years old when he graduated. It was time for him to go.

First true road victory for this team, which makes it a good one despite the obvious struggles in the second half. SIU might not have caught a big fish today, but given the early season issues, I'm not inclined to throw it back. The High Point game would be a great time for this team to put two good halves together.

I don't believe in age discrimination, so frankly, I don't give a crap if a player is my age as long as he can help SIU win. Heck, Drake became an MVC powerhouse with rosters that almost qualified for Social Security.
