Wish I could make it. Very cool to have Tatum back in the house. Good to see him back.

A good turnout for the open house. Chairs were set up for the presentations, for every person seated there were 2-3 others standing. Bryan Mullins talked about the program and the future. He said that the expectation is not to get back “where we were”, but to go beyond that. Talked about character being non-negotiable. He also gave injury update: Ben Harvey had mono, said there were phlegm issues, so I suppose that is were the minor surgery came into play. D’Avanzo is temporarily injured, as is Wonders. Foster was in fact wearing something on his left leg. I say “something” because I don’t know exactly what it was, it went from his foot almost to the knee. I asked him what happened, he said a foot problem, happened about a week ago, and he should be good in two weeks. I spoke with JD also, he said he is good. Ditto on Marcus. AND I had picture taken of Scottie, me, and my bride. He said is indeed 6’10”, and I do indeed believe him! As he adds more muscle he is going to be something to behold. It is impossible to talk to our players and not be totally impressed with their (pardon me from using this word again, but nothing else fits) character. It is one thing to have tremendous players, and quite another to have players who are also tremendous people. Bryan has found players who check both boxes, and we all should be grateful for that.

Spot on report!

Very impressed with all the player's enthusiasm and communication skills!   You can tell they all appreciate the fan base.  Even the eleven players that have never played in front of a Banterra Center crowd in person!!    Bryan and staff have done a great job!!

Thanks for the update. Hopefully the injuries referenced are all minor, and this year's team can take a significant step toward reaching the ambitious, big-picture goals for the program that Bryan Mullins has in mind. Key season for the program ahead.

Yes. He is in Jefferson City, MO, where he grew up, and is managing a non-profit organization. Still the same Jamaal, always smiling.

@dawgbytes

Been a long time since Painter and I'm love having a coach that I back 100%.  It will be even MORE fun and enjoyable having a winning record this season.
