SIU had not shot to win this game from early in the 1st half so to say we had a chance is just coach talk. We played and looked like what we are, a 5th-9th place team in the Valley. But stop beating up on the coach bc we were picked 9th so anything above that is just gravy, nevermind that we are in year 5 with absolutely NO hopes (as of today) of being better next year or anytime soon with their lack of recruiting.
These same recruits everyone is dogging on now are the same recruits everyone was excited about in the off season. So maybe since we are dogging the lack of recruits this year, we’ll knock it out of the park.
