Unfortunately another typical outcome in Peoria. For some reason that place is our kryptonite.
They are much improved but still not great. They are competing for 40 minutes which will lead to more wins. Could end up over .500 this year which I gave no chance 4 weeks ago.
We need to beat Belmont Saturday - I think we will.

I really wish Hensley was more consistent. It seems like he either goes off for 20, or he's invisible out there. 🫤
While disappointed, I'm not surprised by this. Ever since falling behind by a seemingly insurmountable margin last season in Carbondale and putting together an epic rally, Bradley always seems to find its A game against SIU. And no doubt after two consecutive home losses, they were playing with a sense of urgency. Don't know if having Mayo for a full game would have changed the outcome, but he does seem like the type of player who makes his teammates a bit better. Hope he's OK for Saturday in Carbondale. Based on the way SIU came back in Nashville and what Valpo is doing tonight, Belmont seems a bit vulnerable.
In the Saluki broadcast Luke and Rodney were discussing that Nayo has a hip injury that was aggravated last night. Does not look good for him. Moreno needs more playing time.

Like others, I was disappointed last night, but certainly not surprised by the outcome. My main concern was Deen going off last night, and that he did. We truly do not have anyone on this current roster who can stay with him. Tired of losing to the Gargoyles...perhaps we see them again in The Lou.
I also hope that Mr. Mayo is ok, and can contribute on Saturday night.
