“The 6th Annual #SIUDAY of Giving provides an opportunity for every member of the Saluki community to help move @SIUC forward. Save the date for Wednesday, March 2, to make an investment in the lives of the Salukis of today and tomorrow.”
Please remember everything helps folks

Just a reminder that this is quickly approaching. On Wednesday click on our SIU Day of Giving button on the sidebar to make your donation and aggregate your donation under Saluki Insider.
Saluki Insider donors raised $3,610 from 17 donors last time. Let's top that on Wednesday! Anything helps...even $5. There is a large menu of programs for directed donations. We are partial to the Dawg Pound, but there are a lot of very good programs from which to choose. It is very important and it makes a huge impact.
Let's show that we can give SIU more than just advice. 😆
Stop back by on Wednesday and let everyone here know what programs were important for you to support.
I've got a list as long as my arm. The new Saluki Aquarium caught my eye, and, of course, the Dawg Pound. It's a fun tradition in my family every year.
You can start planning your gifts here. There are a lot of choices inside most categories:

Very cool that they have so many options for donating. I still need to narrow mine down. Looking forward to tomorrow.

it is a great thing but it takes some time to figure it all out. hate to spread money thin to so many places but it all helps! thanks @saluki-69 for pointing out saluki aquarium. i love that idea!
so far my definite give list is dawg pound, saluki aquarium, morris library (where is @morris-saluki lately anyway? he should be giving big bucks with his elite business degree), green roof project, Paul Simon institute, beer scholarship, marching salukis scholarship fund (@OBD) and the native american scholarship fund. looking for probably three more out of a hundred great choices.
thanks to saluki insider for leading the effort here. i will donate through our link here. I hope everyone here can kick in a few bucks (or a lot of bucks) how cool would an endowed saluki insider scholarship be? it takes $25k I think.
Craving a McBride Special!
Today is the day folks
Did my part. Split up my donation into 5 different funds, including the Dawg Pound.
