Evansville is better than their terrible record, so I’ll take the road win and be pleased!
Not a great game but happy they pulled it out. I thought we could have mixed up the play calls a little bit more down the stretch. Seemed like we kept running the same play to domask a few plays in a row. But a win is a win! Go Dawgs!
In general I liked the way they played through Domask, but he didn’t have enough left in the tank to carry the load late and in OT.
Lance Jones was a beast in OT!
I think I heard Mullins say McGill was sick tonight. That may be why he had an off night and others had to step up. Davis is slowly getting more playing time and he is progressing. Davis got 27 minutes tonight and scored 6 pts, 6 rebounds, 1 steal and 1 block. I'm not sure how good a defender he is but has the body and athleticism to be good.
Davis was solid. We need that from him; I really liked what I saw from him.

If you are a recruit and undecided. Man this is the place to be. Better things coming. Go Dawgs

Agreed. We caught a team that is down, but is starting to rebound from some really bad things. Big win.
Trent Brown is going to be fine. The only thing missing now is the fact that his shot is not dropping, and it will. I really like Karrington Davis, and I really like the guards who will be playing next year. Assuming Cook gets his medical RS, we will have him, a true (and talented) point guard in Dalton Banks, big guards in Domask, Harvey, Davis, and we will have Trent Brown, who was a very good 3 pt shooter in high school. Oh, we will also have the guard who won the game in OT last night, Mr LJ!

I've been a dawg fan since 1964....it is always great to get out of Evansville with a win.

Plus Eric Butler, who is a bit of an unknown right now but seems like he has the potential to be a very good defender as a longer guard. Maybe he redshirts, but too early to know. If Cook is back, it has the makings of a loaded backcourt.

That's the way I'm seeing it. This is really mind boggling, based upon where we were 11 months ago.

Pretty ugly win, but I'll take it. Nice to see Jones have the confidence to step up like that in OT.
I don't know if Domask was physically drained the final few minutes and OT but couldn't buy a basket. I still liked to see him be aggressive, get to the basket and keep shooting though. That's what great players do.

Was pretty close to the court and Marcus definitely looked gassed towards the end of the 2nd half. Honestly thought there was no way they were winning that game in OT with Marcus gassed and McGill fouled out but credit to Lance for taking over.
