4 wins in a row on the road, need to start taking care of business at Banterra Center. Another early tip on Saturday so can't imagine it's a big crowd again.
Big win and a weird but fun game. The “big three” all answered the bell and Mayo made some big plays.
Need to translate these good road vibes to the Arena now, but won’t be easy with some good teams coming to town.
Great win. Team seems to really support one another. Gotta get Saturday because we head to Peoria right after that.

After yelling at the TV when Sharp dribbles in amongst 3 big guys and throws up a shot that gets blocked again and again (if he is 6-3 I am Larry Bird), and when he makes terrible passes that lead to turnovers, I am of the opinion that Sharp is not very sharp. I was so glad to see Nagy sit him for remainder of game, incredibly idiotic play.I hope Sharp doesn't get kicked out for that
I hope he is. how dumb can you be?

Sharp has not played well lately, and the frustration technical was a lowlight, but he has been helpful in season with minimal guard depth and overall seems like a great kid. I hope he bounces back.
I agree that Sharp has had some rough spots lately, mostly caused by dribbling into trouble with no way out. He needs to have better recognition of when he can penetrate and how deep he can go before he gets into a problem area for him. He is also needing to improve his outside shooting, especially three-point shooting.
While his technical was not a smart play and definitely out of frustration, I will give him a partial pass on it. The Evansville player was making little or no effort to allow him to get up. He purposely stood over him acting like he did not know Sharp was under him. Total BS play. If you watched the game closely, you would have seen this same player “accidentally” bump into SIU players during dead balls. He also “accidentally” got his foot in the way of an SIU player causing them to stumble at least once and I think more. I am not saying he is a dirty player, but chippy for sure. To use an old hockey term, he is a pest.

Yeah, Cuff is one of those classic guys that you love if he’s on your team and can’t stand if he’s not. Definitely a feisty dude that straddles the line between aggressiveness and occasional dirty play.
I made a last minute drive over to Evansville last night and made it just before tip off. What a fun game! It was refreshing to see this team win a game from the 3 point line. Evansville is also a good reminder of how much better of a game day experience that we have in Carbondale than others.
We have a chance to be tied for FIFTH place on Saturday! The thought of that is just incredible really…

If the Redturds lose at UNI and we win, we're in a 3-way tie for 5th place - quite a distance from people thinking we'd not win an MVC game (including me). Back then Nagy said by the end of the year, we'll be a team that others won't want to play. I think we're getting there.
Ford Center looked pretty dead. Looked like as many Southern fans as Aces. I’m a bit surprised as I thought they were buying into Ragland, despite their struggles.

It has taken a while, but this is finally looking like the team many of us thought we were getting during the summer.
To wonder where SIU would be had Elliott not gotten hurt..
