Xavier Johnson has 10 points, Clarence Rupert has 8 points. SIU has 20 points as a team.
We need 3 XJs and 2 CRs. They appear to be the only guys quick enough to play with the Sycs.
Rupert has played well, made a great block, made some nice buckets, etc. except for that dumb foul on the 3 pt shooter.
XJ not shooting great but still our best player.
Larry Swope is their best player. Avila hasn't done much.
It's year 5 and SIU still only has 2 or 3 guys that can score on a specific night. If Xavier didn't have 38 against James Madison, I think we'd be viewing this season much differently so far because they've really just beat up on 4 bums
Pretty disappointed. I'm not throwing in the towel on the Valley season, but I have to say I don't think the conference season could have started any worse.

Also, when we shoot the three lights out, like we have in a couple of games, we look great. Remember when Evansville beat Kentucky a few years ago?? When you have a great shooting night, you can beat anybody.
InSU is very well coached.
Rupert can be a real force inside.
I was listening on the radio. Was that first half as bad as it sounded?
The rout is on, Sycamores up 23 and counting
Laughable performance. And while I'm not shocked, it's still disappointing. Every time you think Mullins has it figured out we come out completely flat and unprepared

It looked better than the 2nd half so far

so far the 2nd half looks worse
Watson praising Rupert - I agree - but then he says he'll make his FTs...????
Sometimes RW is just plain silly!
McGee appears to have passed Miller in the rotation. Probably not a good sign.
