The only thing I care about this game: Will the outcome affect the departure of BH?
If we can win this game and still be assured of BH's departure, then hooray, rah-rah, let's kick some ass. But if winning this game (and others) means that Hinson is more likely to hang on, then to hell with it: I want to lose (sorry, current players, but I'm more into the long game). I don't like that, but I don't care. Hinson needed to be cut loose a long time ago.
I'm going to go out on a limb here and surmise that the people who just can't wrap their brains around the idea of wanting a beloved team to lose have never had a loved one die who was suffering from a terminal, hideous health condition. (I also apologize for the heavy-handed comparison, but I think it fits.) In the case of BOTH of my parents, I did not WANT them to die, but at the same time I realized it was the best thing for all parties concerned.
If you're above the age of 20 or so and haven't yet figured out that life can be kind of complicated, I really don't know what to say to you, except for perhaps "Grow the F up."
