Great game by Lance. Don't get the FTs though - some of it might be just exhaustion cuz the guy plays so hard on both ends of the floor.

Everything that SIU needed to do to step up and win on the road, they did. For as ugly as parts of this game were, SIU is learning to win on the road. That’s a big development for the end of this season going into next.

Just think how good his scoring would be if his FTs were as good as last year. His D has really improved this year and that energy-expenditure may have something to do with it.
Dawgs have scratched and clawed their way to 8-8 in the Valley. Not what we hoped early in the season but scratched and clawed are term of endearment for me.
Domask, Jones, and Damico each had 2 TOs. 6 for the game. Like to see that every game.
@gobluesaluki everybody loves Lance. Dude played his heart out. It is kind of maddening that he’s repeatedly struggled with free throws at the end of games

We are 4-4 in the mvc on the road. Would love to win at Drake and end with an above .500 record on the road in the valley. Great games played by Coupet, Banks, Jones, Domask and D'Amico. D'amico is such a mature player for a true freshman. Great comeback road win. Lets' finish it off with 2 more mvc wins!
I like playing the smaller lineup. We are much better on offense when we push the ball with the smaller lineup. We just need to play better interior defense with the smaller lineup.

Didn't get to watch as I unfortunately had to ref a 5th grade basketball tournament (kill me). But nice to see another win! Don't look now but the Salukis are on a winning streak
